Here is the latest on what is happening at Puckety Church...
Puckety Church is a caring community of believers who believe that the Bible is God's word, and that it is the absolute truth. We are following Jesus, making disciples and Loving one another as He loves us. We would like to know you personally, and hope you will find a place to belong here. Please join us in worship, or any other ministry activity that you would like to be a part of. You are welcome at Puckety!
We are located between the Huston Middle School and Burrell High School, in Lower Burrell, PA (click here for directions). We are excited to see the ways that God will use us to serve His community in Lower Burrell. To learn more about us, please feel free to browse through our web site. If you have questions or comments, use the contact us page to reach us.
While we are not planning on having Communion as part of the Palm Sunday worship (but we will still meet together online), we are planning now for an online Maundy Thursday worship service. This will also include Celebrating the Lord's Supper through our virtual connection in community. So, please prepare now by having some grape juice/wine and bread that you might prepare and set aside the evening of the service.
Puckety Presbyterian Church Family and Visitors:
As you might have anticipated, the Session has decided to abstain from having in-person worship services until further notice. At the same time, we affirmed the need and opportunity to be able to worship together (though physically separated). We will be participating in alternative worship services online at the regular hour (10:00 a.m., Sunday). This service will be led by Rev. Noftzger and will be accessible through either of the following links:
Weekly Sunday Worship at 10:00 a.m. can be seen using this information
IF you do not have internet access, there are many members who will be glad to have you join them (in small groups of 2-4 people) in their online participation.
During this time while we cannot worship together, we encourage all of our members to stay in “touch” by phone, text, email or cards to and to be in prayer for the needs of one another. Look for regular emails, updates on alternative activities and encouragement that will be generated on the Facebook page and other sources.
