Puckety Church's Vision Statement

Introduction

We see Puckety Church rejoicing in every opportunity to bring praise and glory to God.

Worship

We see a church with people of all ages excitedly coming and going, bringing friends with them to share in meaningful worship. We see worship experiences that are filled with the Holy Spirit, that celebrate God as He moves in his people to put their faith into practice and inspire others to join them.

Evangelism

We see people going out to others who have never trusted Christ - telling them that God loves them, that Christ died to pay the penalty for their sins, and that by receiving Jesus Christ as Savior they can know a rich and fulfilling life, now and forever.

We see a church that builds people up then sends them out as missionaries – to our community, our nation, and the world. We see a church that supports those missionaries with prayer, financial and material resources, and with words and acts of encouragement.

Fellowship

We see a church where every member is actively involved in the life and ministry of Puckety Church, and in building up God’s Kingdom throughout the Alle-Kiski valley. Where members understand and show by their actions that the church, which is The Body of Christ, exists not to be served, but to enable its members to serve others.

Discipleship

We see men, women, and children of all ages being nurtured in small groups that inspire and enable committed discipleship, that provide opportunities to grow in understanding the Bible, that lead people to discover opportunities for service, and that empower people to put into practice what they profess.

Ministry

We see a church where our members, using their unique, God-given gifts and talents, make a conscious commitment to discerning and ministering to the hurts and needs of people in the communities around them, as an expression of God’s love to a world in need.

Outcome

We see lives being changed by the transforming power of Jesus Christ. We see our congregation being and becoming the Body of Christ, serving the cause of the Kingdom of God with energy, intelligence, imagination, and love. And we see joy and victory for the Kingdom.
