Updates from Puckety's Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC)

Your Puckety Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC) has made great progress. As reported in the February 28th worship service, we have completed our church information form (CIF). This form compiles a broad scope of information into a profile of our church. It contains:

•	a section on statistics (number of members, number of worshippers, number in Sunday school, etc.)
•	a section for our church mission statement (a combined effort of session and congregation input spanning several years)
•	our church’s accomplishments and programs – past, present and future
•	our gifts, skills and experiences
•	key theological issues
•	major responsibilities, characteristics and qualifications required of our new pastor
•	a list of 10 desired skills choices to match those responsibilities

All of this information was gathered through focus groups, church records, Session & PNC deliberation; and all done with prayerful consideration.

This CIF form is now on file with the Denomination’s Church Leadership Connection. This is where pastors who are seeking a call submit their personal information forms (PIFs). The system then attempts to match pastors seeking calls to churches seeking pastors based on mutual visions and needs being met all under God’s providential care.
